Central sales management as new position
New Head of Sales at Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte
On July 1, 2020 Domenik Nikollaj took over the newly created position of Sales Manager at Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte GmbH, Vienna/Austria. Up to now, the international sales agendas have been handled decentrally by the sales managers and departments of the respective product divisions - Robotics and Automation, Temperature Control Technology and Bulk Material Technology. From now on, these activities will be bundled in order to provide the Wittmann Group's international sales network with a central contact person for all matters concerning the product areas Robotics and Peripherals.
Experienced sales professional
Michael Wittmann, Managing Director at Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte, is delighted that he has been able to win Domenik Nikollaj as an expert for this challenging position:

Domenik Nikollaj began his career at Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte GmbH almost 15 years ago. His career in the company encompassed various positions, including project planning in bulk solids technology, followed by a management position in this department. He then took over various sales activities with a focus on Asia and subsequently rose to the position of International Key Account Manager. Most recently, he also worked for the Wittmann Group as Country Manager for South East Asia.
Digitalization requires new sales structures
The Wittmann Group has experienced an unprecedented period of growth in recent years. The corporate philosophy states that each product group must meet the claim to technological world market leadership. Due to the increased demand for complete packages and the merging of individual devices into work cells, the requirements placed on the individual product areas have also changed over time.
In addition to the technological pioneering role of each product area, there is now a need for perfect coordination of individual machines - within a larger whole in the sense of Industry 4.0. This development is reflected not least in the sales area and gave the impetus for the reorganization of the sales department of Wittmann Kunststoffgeräte GmbH.
