Call for Papers for Composites Innovation 2014

For the 4th time NetComposites Ltd., Chesterfield, UK, will organize the Composites Innovation conference. This year it will take place on 5–6 June 2014 in Manchester, UK. The conference will focus on FRP materials and the opportunities they can bring across a wide range of industrial sectors.

NetComposites are currently seeking papers for inclusion at the event. Abstracts on all other relevant topics will also be considered. As well as the presentations, the conference will be complimented by a networking drinks reception and the event will sit alongside a small exhibition. Other sponsorship options are also available.

Over recent years there has been a trend towards large lightweight structures in many industries including wind, aerospace, construction and mass transit. These structures can pose considerable challenges to the designer. Material and manufacturing developments mean that fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites offer a solution to many of these challenges, exploiting in particular their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent durability properties.

Abstracts from organizations wishing to be included in the conference are welcomed on or before the deadline of 28th February 2014. These should be sent to events@netcomposites.com.
