Asiamold 2014 Concluded with Praise from the Industry
Asiamold 2014, the eighth edition of the Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition, successfully concluded one of its most comprehensive editions to date, showcasing a wide variety of products from 3-D printing, molding, die casting and metal processing suppliers. Held from 15–17 September at China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, the fair welcomed 360 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, who utilized 20,000 sqm of exhibition space to display their latest products and solutions.
Manufacturers represented a large portion of visitors to Asiamold. During the three-day show, attendance totalled 19,018 visitors, a 10% increase from 2013. Additionally, a total of 63 buying delegations from companies such as Adidas, ASM, Bayer Healthcare, BYD, Foxconn, Honda, Midea, Mitsumi, Philips, TCL and Wrigley attended, affirming the importance of Asiamold to the industry’s growth.
According to Louis Leung, Deputy General Manager at Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Ltd, exhibitors were generally pleased with the high number of decision makers they were able to connect with through the show. On the other hand, visitors praised the exceptional quality of solutions on display from exhibitors.
In addition to the success of the mold and die-casting zone, another show highlight was the 3-D manufacturing zone. Exhibitors expressed unanimous praise over the fair’s ability to bring together both industry leaders and decision-making buyers. Concurrent events have also added to Asiamold’s success, covering the most relevant issues within 3-D printing, as well as mold and die development. In 2014, over 30 informative 3-D printing, mold and die casting seminars were held to help participants gain invaluable insights on the industry’s trends and new technologies.
The next edition of Asiamold will take place from 15–17 September 2015 at the China import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
