Arburg: New Building in Madrid
The newly built Arburg Technology Centre (ATC) at the Spanish branch office in Madrid was officially opened during two days of festivities at the end of September. Besides the display of the new ATC’s extensive capabilities, highlights of the event were specialist presentations, a demonstration of a small section of the current machine range and the presentation of the Arburg host computer system (ALS).
The move into the new premises has increased the useable floor space by a quarter to around 400 square metres. In order to demonstrate Arburg technology on site, three Allrounders can produce molded parts here under realistic conditions. The demonstration room also serves as a place where customers can perform tests, try out new molds, for example, or receive practical assistance in dealing with injection molding problems.
In his welcome speech, Managing Director Michael Hehl underlined the importance of the Spanish market. He emphasised that despite a difficult market environment, Arburg’s willingness to support and invest remained intact.
