AkzoNobel: Rebranding of Nourymix Range of Products

Armoslip additives find their way into a wide variety of consumer products such as plastic bags, screw caps and closures (figure: AkzoNobel)

AkzoNobel Functional Chemicals, Amersfoort, The Netherlands, has changed the names of its Nourymix range of high performance polymer additive concentrates. The new names for these easy to use, value added products will be aligned with the company’s Armoslip and Armostat range of product brands.

All slip additives – both neat and high concentrated – will be marketed under the name of Armoslip. The brand name Armostat will be used for all antistatic agent formulations.

The name change is a result of a rebranding effort designed to further strengthen the well-known Armo “brand” under which most of AkzoNobel’s polymer additives are marketed. The composition and specifications of the products itself will remain unchanged.
