Contouring with Cover Blades

Temperature contouring in thermoforming allows the forming behavior of the sheet to be adjusted locally in order to even out thin spots of the formed part. The process is thus able to decrease the weight of the formed part and consequently reduce material costs, while also maintaining consistent quality-related properties of the part.
