At the Institute of Medical and Polymer Engineering of Technische Universität München, the ongrowth behavior of human fibroblasts on polymer surfaces was investigated in relation to structures with different aspect ratios, a surface treatment with atmospheric plasma and a coating with titania (titanium dioxide).
