Substitution: Foamed Frames for Solar Panels
Instead of the usual pure aluminum, the frame of a combined photovoltaic and solar heating panel consists of a steel frame coated in foamed polyurethane. Thanks to a new manufacturing technique, all mounting fixtures, fluid connections, and wiring for the diodes are integrated in the foamed frame.
