So the Paint never Comes off

Right Material and Processing Parameters for Primerless Painting of Polypropylene

So the Paint never Comes off

In the automotive industry, many injection molded plastic components are painted with multi-layer coating systems. After suitable surface pretreatment, at least one layer of primer, a basecoat, and a clearcoat are applied. A new polypropylene compound now fulfills all technical criteria without application of a primer, so saving time and money. However, this achievement does not depend on the material alone.
