Rapid Plasma Activation in the Medium Pressure Range: In-line Plasma Treatment for 3D Plastics Parts
The treatment of plastics parts with homogeneous plasma has so far been subject to considerable restrictions due to the fact that the available plasma sources have been limited to high-vacuum operation. With the introduction of Cyrannus plasma, large numbers of 3D parts can now also be economically treated in-line in the medium pressure range. The concept presented here is targeted primarily at the activation/coating of materials which are not going to be treated as bulk goods nor will need to undergo high-grade finishing, as in tool production.Beitrag auf Deutsch lesen
International Polymer Processing, the journal of the Polymer Processing Society, is a discussion forum for the world-wide community of engineers and scientists in the field of polymer processing.
The journal covers research and industrial application in the very specific areas of designing polymer products, processes, processing machinery and equipment.
