PVC/PBT Window Profiles: More Economic and Warmer without Metal

Two flat, monoextruded strips made from specially developed, glass-fiber-reinforced PBT are being used in a new window frame profile manufactured by aluplast to replace a much heavier metal reinforcing element, which is also more complicated to incorporate. The plastic reinforces the whole window frame in the same way as metal did previously but has better thermal insulation properties.
