Polypropylene: PP Compound with New Properties
Thanks to its structure, customizable content of glass fibers and low density, a highly crystalline polypropylene compound possesses properties which allow it to act as a substitute for engineering polymers such as polyamide and PBT. Its performance at elevated temperatures opens up scope for using this commodity polymer in automotive applications that were hitherto the preserve of engineering polymers. It also makes for lighter parts.Beitrag auf Deutsch lesen
