Besides the general economic growth, polypropylene is continuously expanding its applications arena thanks to its versatile properties portfolio, excellent processability, relative low density and good cost/performance balance. Lifestyle changes of the consumer further stimulate the substitution of other thermoplastic resins and traditional materials like glass, paper and metal in favour of polypropylene.
