Chrome VI-Free Pretreatment of ABS

Since September 21, 2017 the use of Cr(VI) compounds for pickling ABS surfaces is only possible with a temporary permit throughout the EU. Therefore, a substitute process is presented, which can be integrated into existing process chains, and creates high-grade, securely bonded metal plating.
