Material Resistance: Effect of Repeated Sterilization

Frequently used medical products are subject to severe mechanical stresses from the processes of use, cleaning or disinfection and sterilization during routine clinical practice. A joint research project investigated the stressing of selected plastics to obtain information about their long-term deployment as medical products.
