The Fiber-Plastic-Metal Combination

If modern cars are not to become heavier, despite the complicated sensor technology and extensive infotainment systems, lightweight design is called for. The LehoMit-Hybrid research project develops a lightweight center tunnel suitable for large series production in an FRP-metal hybrid design for use in automobile body assembly.
