Recycling of Long Carbon Fibers

Development of a Bindered LrCF Tape with High Fiber Orientation

Recycling of Long Carbon Fibers

To optimally exploit the properties of recyclate fibers for structural applications, a bindered rCF tape with high fiber orientation and high intrinsic stability is produced from relatively long recycled carbon fibers (rCF). It permits the automated manufacturing of load-optimized preforms for liquid-composite molding processes.
