JET3up Continuous Inkjet Printer

Production Safety for Labeled Products

The combination of JET3up inkjet printer and vision system guarantees high production reliability (figure: Leibinger)

For several decades, Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG, Tuttlingen, Germany, has developed and produced industrial inkjet printers, numbering machines and camera verification systems for monitoring of fluently production processes. The new JET3up continuous inkjet printer is capable of high-quality marking of extrusion or injection-molded parts at up to 36 km/h. Here, the standard integrated, automatic Sealtronic nozzle seal reliably prevents the ink in the printhead from drying out and, together with the Clean Instant Start and Stop technology, ensures maintenance-free start up. When used in combination with the new vision system, greater production safety can also be guaranteed (Fig.). The control system reliably detects incorrectly or incompletely labeled products and reports this immediately to the printer or operator.
